item of the week with MSU fashion club!

Yay! It is that time of the week again for the fashion club. The item of the week is definitely one of my favorite things about the fashion club at my school. I love walking into our meetings and seeing everyones individual style and how they wear the item each week. This week the item was fur! I chose to wear my grandmas 60's jacket with the fur collar, an item of clothing I love dearly. Another popular piece I saw a lot of the girls wearing was the fur vest. I don't have one of these yet, but have been dying to get one! All of the lovely ladies in the fashion club wore their fur beautifully today :) Cannot wait til the next meeting!

Its been a long day of cleaning off cars and shoveling snow, so I am happy that I can finally relax and watch Boardwalk Empire with my family. But first, I just had to take pictures outside. There is just something about the snow that brings a sense of calmness to me. I wish it was not so cloudy so you could actually see the moon and stars tonight, but that will be for another night. Preferably when it is not so cold!

new semester, new bag.

With Daffy's having a huge sale, I could not resist buying this bag! The color is perfect, the size is just right for books, my laptop and all that random stuff girls have in their bags :)

I have been really bad lately with getting pictures up, I need to step up my game again. It has just been so crazy the past two days because classes start tomorrow! I am not ready to go back to school yet, I feel like break has just started. Just think though, spring break is only 16 weeks away! But, in the meantime, here was my weekend before classes.

I just had to put up a picture of my new hair, I couldn't hold out any longer! I haven't had bangs since my sophomore year in high school, I forgot how much fun they are :) Sorry about the picture, my computer camera is not that good.

windy hair.

I pretty much have spent all day at home chasing around my christmas tree. Yes, you read that right, my chritmas tree. We left it on the side of the road in hopes that the garbage men would take it away, but it seems we have missed christmas tree pick up day and the wind made sure to make it impossible for that tree to stay in one place. Which is why I was running around and dragging it back onto our property countless times today. But I made some fun out of it and decided to take a few shots when the tree was secure in our back yard. Oh, and have you noticed, I got my hair cut :)

YAY, my Free People coat came in today and I have been wearing it ever since I took it out of the bag. I love the way it looks and feels and cannot wait to wear it out tomorrow and show it off! What do ya think?
